Sam Seagull is a collection of short stories featuring two main characters: Sam Seagull, a clever talking seagull, and his friend Giovannino, the son of a fisherman who loves helping his father at work. The stories tell of their incredible adventures as well as their everyday life in their seaside village.

This project was born a couple of years ago from our daughter’s constant requests that I invent new stories for her. I created these two characters, and she loved the tales so much—and kept asking to hear them again and again—that I thought I might share them with other children as well.
